Junior Olympic Team Coach

Ann is a former Level 10 and high school competitive gymnast with over twenty years of successful coaching experience. In addition to coaching some of the most notable athletes in the region, Ann coached at LaFleur’s Gymnastics in Tampa, Florida and served as the Girls Team Director at Swiss Turners Gymnastics Academy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Xcel and Junior Olympic Team Coach

Kasey is a graduate of Fairfield University and earned a degree in Psychology. Prior to pursuing her degree, Kasey competed as a Level 10 New York gymnast and also at Yorkstown High School. Kasey plans on continuing her education and pursuing a degree in school counseling.

Xcel Team Manager

Maria started out as a gymnast competing up to level 9, after her athletic career she began coaching. She has coached numerous State and Regional Champions in USAG and YMCA. After 23 years of coaching, her philosophy is to provide exceptional gymnastics instruction, to motivate, and to inspire gymnasts of all ages and abilities in a positive and caring environment. Maria is a USAG Professional Member, Safety & Risk Management Certified, USAG Skill Evaluator Certified and was the 2004 Southington Chamber of Congress Employee of the year.

Nicole is currently studying Health Science and plans to go to grad school to be a physician assistant. She competes as a member of the Club Gymnastics Team at Sacred Heart University. A former Level 8 competitor in New York, and an active community volunteer at Sacred Heart.

Xcel Team Coach

Lauren is currently a senior at Sacred Heart University majoring in marketing with a minor in fashion merchandise. Macolino has been on the Sacred Heart University club gymnastics team for 4 years and is currently team captain. Previously, she attended North Haven High School and was on the gymnastics team for 4 years and was captain of the team for 3 years. She was a member of the Senior National Gymnastics Team for high school and competed in Florida for Team Connecticut in 2014, placing 3rd as a team.
